Actually, @jogawag posted something here: https://www.head-fi.org/threads/earbuds-round-up.441400/page-5027#post-18117941 But yes, more impressions from others would be welcome. I would also like to know if the fragile mmcx connectors still exist in the new version.- wskl

I no longer have the rw2000 but I seem to remember that if I swapped the shells, i.e. L shell in right ear and R shell in left ear, it was more comfortable for me. Don't know if that helps you.- wskl

If you only listen to classical chamber music and solo instrumental then FF1 is quite good (for an entry level earbud). But for symphonies and concertos then it is a "no", the soundstage is not spacious enough. I performed a quick test without foams, I noticed an increase in clarity, treble is...- wskl

I've been using the following setup for the past 2 weeks, Red Serratus paired with Colorfly CDA M1P. Take the Serratus sound signature and add on top some velvety smoothness and that is essentially what you get, the synergy is quite excellent, sounds wonderful.- wskl

USB-C to 3.5mm adapters (DAC) - Let's find the best
Thanks, I will try Ubuntu since it is using a newer kernel than Mint but I'll probably wait until the 24.04 LTS release. I'm using easy to drive earphones, max volume on the dc04 pro is like 1/3 the volume of my PC built-in headphone jack, almost inaudible actually.- wskl
