Fully agree! But I would advise also to try the RS2 with a planar - even lower-mid ones like Timeless and S12pro are producing wonderful replays. The capabilities of smoothness and bodiness of the R2R with the the fastness and clarity of planars complement wonderfully.

Mmm, with risk to sound unpolite, TT2 is a level up vs the Hugo 2 in replay plus the replay is more neutral (the brightness is just for the air, no sparkling) and the amp section can decently do the Susvara (not to max but can do it).

Did you tried different dac filters? Sometimes Slow Rolled-off is better vs Fast Rolled-off when you have sibilance issue.

Not sure уou explored the Z1R right. 1/ they need power; just dongle is often not enough; 2/ deep and tight fit; If you have these 2 you will get: - marvelous bass - fast, tight, deep; - vocals are not pulled back like often described; - great ariness and holographic sound stage; - detail richness.

Yep, the Z1R is having more holographic replay and bigger staging and is a bit more V-shape which is not a negative since this is the best V-shape you may get; needs more power to replay properly. But I doubt you may find it cheaper than MMk2. The next one with huge holographic replay is the UM...
