Astell & Kern AK70 MKII with dual DAC
the AK300 has the much newer AKM4490 chip inside it and also works with the whole range of 300 series accessories (the amp, dock, recorder) so there will still be a market for it i think- fluffyberry

a big reason why I'm so hesitant about the opus #1 is because the screen is horrible, which is why the ak70 mkii could be a better call. Not to mention i rly like the general UI of AK products- fluffyberry

Astell & Kern AK70 MKII with dual DAC
The problem is that the opus #2 costs almost 500 more than the ak70ii in my country, and that's with a pretty significant discount already...and it's wayyy bulkier- fluffyberry

Astell & Kern KANN - DAP with Massive Storage & Battery
I'm honestly pretty shocked AK even allowed this thing to go into production with a design like that. Coming from a company which has some of the edgiest and beautifully crafted DAPs on the market this looks like a bloated blob of something a 3-year old mashed out of play-dough next to it's much...- fluffyberry

Dont' know if this name has been suggested but if it hasn't may I present the "Emperor" It's already in your brand name, and what is an empire without its emperor? Deities and mythical creatures are all fine and good but the Emperors of old were the true gods among men, filled with...- fluffyberry

I have had the most unusual bug crop up in my Ak100ii. For some unknown reason, whenever the player powers on it will re-scan my entire music library stored on the external SD card (which is normal for me). Recently however, it's been double-scanning certain albums, such that the tracks is...- fluffyberry

Little Dot I+ Tube Rolling
I just got this amp, and while I love being able to finally drive my AKGs properly, I have run into quite the issue with the amp producing a very loud humming sound. Thing is, as far as I can tell the humming is basically inaudible when I actually have music playing, but once it stops, the...- fluffyberry

Review by 'fluffyberry' on item 'Cosmic Ears CE6P'
When I first started looking for a pair of CIEMs, I was determined to find the best one in the $1000 region that would serve me equally well for everyday listening as well as stage use (I play in a band) and after quite a bit of deliberation, settled on these, and man was it a good call. What...- fluffyberry
