THE COMPOSER OPEN BACK FLAGSHIP by AUSTRIAN AUDIO
@jamesjames I heard the K812 and Utopia in direct comparison - I can only confirm that, no matter what other advantages Utopia has, it definitely can't create space. In my opinion, Utopia is being hyped up too much. The K1000 and Mysphere can also create space. As for Mysphere - it's a shame...- FritzS

@plakat What about an Austrian.Audio Full Score one? Have you heard or tested it yet? I've been listening to it for a while now, I don't even think that there's an amplifier at work, just "a pice wire with gain"!- FritzS

Beyerdynamic Amiron Home (the new T90)
I know, but they are expensive. Cost about 1/5 of the Amiron price. With the DT1990, Beyerdynamic offers shorter cables that cost noticeably less, I bought some from Thomann at the same time. Shorter cables for Amiron are only an option if I want to keep the Amiron Home after the tests.- FritzS

Beyerdynamic Amiron Home (the new T90)
A very specific but selective test, so it cannot be applied to the entire music spectrum. A piece of music that I have certainly heard hundreds of times in various headphone tests: Roger Waters - Pink Floyd, The Final Cut (1983, 12 tracks) Tr. 1 The Post War Dream At the beginning you hear...- FritzS

Beyerdynamic Amiron Home (the new T90)
Beyerdynamic Amiron Home versus DT1990 Pro The package with the Beyerdynamic Amiron Home just arrived today, sounds a little different to the DT1990 Pro (with analytic pads). I have to wait until it's burned in, which means that the pads have adapted to the shape of my head. It still works, a...- FritzS

I've heard the HE1 several times at the Klangbilder exhibition in Vienna - and I was able to listen to it alone before the exhibition officially began. Quite nice, sounds quite good, seemed a bit ‘too warm, too full in the upper bass’ to me. But I would never pay that price - even if I had the...- FritzS

Nomax, you don't see some manufactured in China, .... yes, you don't know! Every electric car; many computer, smartphones (including cameras) has much more engineering craftsmanship as the HE1! THE COMPOSER OPEN BACK FLAGSHIP by AUSTRIAN AUDIO
At the Head-fi meeting in Vienna: The HD6xx confirmed my feelings about the Sennheiser HD6 series (I owned an HD600) - sounds too little rousing for my ears, ‘smooth, emulsionless’. Contrary to this are DT1990, K812, Composer .... and the mod. HD800.- FritzS

Austria Head-Fi Lounge
I heard the widest stage with the modified HD800. Hardly anyone can compete with that, not even Composer or K812. . The ‘grid model’ (feasibility study from 3D printer) of a totally open headphone sounded good, but the driver failed with the deep bass of “Mystical Scent - He Xuntian“, it hit...- FritzS
