Caldera Closed with hybrid pads sounds insane on the Aegis with KT-88 and 5u4G from the TAD bundle and the stock 6SL7. Warm and sweet with such a nice bass.

Yes, they are seperate pieces. You unscrew the cover, underneath it are the screw holes elevated in like little cylinders. The strap and headband each have two holes in it which go around the cylinders. Really easy to dis- and reassamble, you can't do anything wrong really.
