Those are all nice amps. If you want something that can drive a Caldera down the line, you may want to narrow it down to OTC amps as they will do a better job with the Caldera than OTL amps.

My standard config seems to be similar to yours. 5691 input tubes, 5R4GY rectifier and various power tubes. I've been doing a bit more rectifier swapping lately (Mullard GZ32, Brimar 5V4, Sylvania 5Z3 hanging filament, etc) but I always seem to come back to the 5R4GY.

Yeah, that sounds like an amp problem. I hope that your dealer can sort it out.

Is it close to your WiFi router? I had some noise issues with my HA-6A until I moved my router away from it and now it's very quiet. I would look at that and the tubes first.
