Penon is currently testing the 8 shares Pyramid cable and there's a high chance of listing it for sale very soon.

I told Penon if they want to succeed in that price range, they would need to build a perfect IEM. Kinera Loki is a direct competitor and this TOTL will have a similar driver configuration. They just asked me to trust them. By the way, the BC is full range according to Penon.

I was told a few weeks they had no plans for an 8w version. Probably had a lot of requests.

I will ask them but it could be because of the internal design. Kinera also don't have CIEM for Loki because a lot of space is needed for the BC drivers.

The new TOTL will be the most expensive Penon to date. No information about the final driver configuration yet but I will not be available in CIEM due to the use of BC. By the end of next month or September should be available.

I doubt it has any of those configurations. Too similar to Impact and VOLTAGE.

I regret selling my DTR1+, so I might well buy this limited edition. I'm not just sure if it's gold or silver stainless steel. Also curious if Anson is using the same AKM DAC or a new one. Sound quality improvements and software tweaks are always welcome.

I own the Sinfonia (balanced) and Sonata (SE). I think Concerto is the previous version but both are excellent portable AMPs. I usually pair them with Mojo2/Poly and Sony WM1A.

Potenza should work really well with high impedance earbuds since it has 900mW of power output.
