For those of us with multiple headphones, which ones are you listening with now?
Just an FYI Kip Winger played here in Sarasota a couple months ago at the outdoor stage of one our great local tap rooms. About 500 people. I wasn't able to attend but was told it was a very good show.- Luckyleo

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
I'm not familiar with Matthew's to be honest. I would listen to certain S.F. Radio stations in the 70's from the San Fernando Valley in So Cal. A frequent ad I heard then was from Tower Records, Open tonight and every night of the week till midnight! Top of the hill Daley City. That being...- Luckyleo

Just to chime in, Qobuz frequently offers me a choice of recording versions. Original, Hi-Rez, Remastered. I find it a great learning experience to listen to the same album cut back-to-back. About 50% of the time the original recording sounds better than the remastered. It's nice to have...- Luckyleo

Yes, the cable on the 2000x is what I'm referencing. Agree with your impressions.- Luckyleo

If you order a GS3000x today, the cable is a variation on the OG cable. Thinner, a bit more flexible, but still not my choice for a quality cable.- Luckyleo

ZMF Aegis Official Thread
My personal recommendation would be Gungnir A1 and Aegis. I'm a Schiithead. It takes one to know one :relaxed: I think you would be greatly be blown away with this combo (Remember, I know nothing about the sound you are looking for). Good luck!- Luckyleo

Extend the headband to it's fullest. Then gently flex the metal part of the band outward on each side. Try it. Many here have had success with this technique- Luckyleo

I can't disagree with you and others, as you hear what you hear. Given that, I find that my RS1x and RS1e respond very nicely to an upgraded signal chain, DAC and Amp in particular. I've found substantial improvement in the Bass Dept. as my chain has improved over time. YMMV.- Luckyleo

The X series has a newer cable now, as compared to when they were released. I was having some stuff done by Grado to my 3000x and asked that they replace the original cable with the new cable. Still a Grado cable, but much better than the original IMHO.- Luckyleo

I never had the e version, but I have to say that if you are a fan of the Grado sound, the 3000x are the best that they are offering today. At least in my opinion. Other than removable cables, I can't imagine them bringing out an improved version. Just my thoughts. Leo- Luckyleo
