That's a very good cable. Kbear 16 core? However it may be a bit heavy for the buds. I have an 8 core for my ry4s plus and I feel l like it dislodges the shell sometimes due to the heft. But I love the chunky'ness and feel of the cable so I never got a lighter weight one. 🙂- h8uthemost

I think you made the right decision with the non pro. Those are on my list of upcoming buds to get. I've read a review of two saying that pro just doesn't have what the non pro has (sound wise ofc). But then I read glowing reviews for both. I'm just being cautious and getting the non pro Make...- h8uthemost

That's a great recap bud! Yeah, too much bass and not enough treble is no good for me. But I like a warm treble not an ice pick to the ear treble (I'm talking about the kz pr3, huge mistake). I'll look into the Saber. Thanks for helping me from a costly earbud mistake! 🙂 Edit: Hmmm..a gen 1...- h8uthemost

I hear that! Same for me. I would love to get that new Berserker 3 though. I enjoy a slight bass boost with warm/non-fatiguing treble. Guess I'll have to start putting pennies in my pig bank until I can afford it. 🙃- h8uthemost

I really appreciate your encouragement. For real. It's appreciated. I've been doing some outside soldering but it hasn't turned out as good as I want it due to the tremors. I'll try what you said and see how it goes. And I didn't know that there's soldering paste. Interesting. Thanks again...- h8uthemost

This is great to know! Member tekki-uk has a myshop/Etsy store (Hundo3D) that sells pre soldered mmcx connectors(as well as adapters to do the cable mods on the koss line, along with other mods for them). So this is going to be a huge and I'm sure irritating step that I'll be able to skip now. 🙃...- h8uthemost

Now these would be right up my alley as I'm a jazz/chamber fan. I actually might look into these being my first build. It sounds like foams on would be more ideal to me as I tend to learn more towards the warmer side. Since there's no gushing over these I'm gonna go ahead and wait for a sale...- h8uthemost

MOONDROP Earbuds Returns!
Huh. That's s bit disappointing, but like the other poster said they're meant to be used without foams. I guess. I've never used a pair of buds without foams on. Looks like the hard plastic wouldn't do well on the delicate tissue of the inner ear. But what do I know. Well... I'm still going to...- h8uthemost

Koss KPH40 Utility Review/Impressions
Those are it. 🙂 I like Yaxi's, but to me they're just not worth the price. Especially when there's just as good pads out there for a fraction of the cost. Edit: These here are good. For 3 pairs it comes out to a little over $5usd with tax and shipping.- h8uthemost

Koss KPH40 Utility Review/Impressions
Ok. thanks for the response I bought some after market yaxi's off of Ali for my ksc75 and I love them. So I think I'm gonna get another pair of those(they're like $3) and quarter mod them. Either that or get the geekria pads with the ear pad snap on ring from Tekki-UK. Alot of people seem to be...- h8uthemost

Koss KPH40 Utility Review/Impressions
I just received mine today. It's there any free mods that people are doing? Like I'm thinking about quartet modding the pads. That should add a little more to the clarity shouldn't it?- h8uthemost

Yeah those are very nice shells(thanks for posting them for me). I know some people put on those side firing silicones. I have a pair but haven't tried them. But now my interest is peaked. Think I'll throw them on my Rosemary and see what they do to the sound. You specifically are making me...- h8uthemost

MOONDROP Earbuds Returns!
I'm assuming no one has received theirs yet? I'm just waiting for some reviews and impressions to come in before I order. Which I'm sure they're gonna sound good (it's moondrop after all), so I guess I really don't have to wait...- h8uthemost

Yeah like @jogawag said, I've also read that they're not that great. Which is a shame cuz I was really wanting a pair a few months ago. Instead of Fengru I recommend something from Qigom. Very excellent diy's. Congrats on your new diy shiny! They certainly look great. I'm a sucker for a chunky...- h8uthemost

I'm super excited for the U-2. I'm gonna wait until some reviews come out before purchasing though. But I have a few pair of moondrop iems, along with a couple of their bullet styles, and they haven't let me down yet. So I'm expecting the same from these buds. Hoping at least So yeah...- h8uthemost
