So far, with only a few hours of head time with it, seems pretty close the R6iii. Both are running class A for amplification so the power is there. This one not only has equalization inside of the music app but has a system wide eq to change the overall tone of the unit. Haven't tried that yet...

Got the Hiby R4 yesterday. Form was a bit bigger than anticipated but I'm liking the sounds so far. Unique look. Quirky.

Got mine yesterday and loaded a bunch of music and sounded great. Unit got a bit warm but not too bad. I am having issues connecting to a wifi source and it could be me. My R6iii also has the same issues. I guess it does not like WPA2. Will try to change my router to see if that allows access...

I just got confirmation that my Vali 2++ is due back today, quick turn-around at no cost for the repair. Got to love Schiit, they stand by their gear. Also ordered the Hiby R4 to replace the R3 Pro (which has seen some extensive usage and the buttons are becoming non-responsive). Looking forward...

I am very close to pulling the trigger on the R4. Only real choice is green or orange? Looking to replace my older R3 that has some long-term wear and tear. Would use the R4 as my 'outdoor DAP'. Curious to see how it compares the R6iii (which I adore).

Just got my new Vali 3 and Loki Mini in. The Vali 2++ is at Schiit for repairs. Was going to spend tonight testing this out but have a live show to see tonight-The Jayhawks. Seen them a couple times and always a great show.

I think Schiit will fix my Vali 2 for free, just sent it back to them. But even if they do, I just bought the Vali 3 and the Loki Mini EQ. That way I can use the fixed Vali 2 in my office, while retaining the same cache of tubes I've accumulated. It's definitely been a schiit day.

@jerick70 So sorry to hear about that ass-hattery. Nothing worse than waiting. I just got my Kiwi Melody. Paired it with the Hiby R6iii. Some very nice sounds. The NiceHCK GreyRhino won't be in until next week. These have some decent bass, more mid-bass than truly low bass stuff here, but still...
