G8 vs. S10 w/external DAC (HD6XX; Amazon Music HD)
I'm looking to upgrade my mobile audio experience. Currently I have an S10 that I like to sometimes pair with my HD6XX while using Amazon Music HD. Would I/or should I notice a difference in sound, if I purchase an LG G8 (for around $150) to use as a media player only device (using my...- ksimm033

Custom with ER4 treble and a little more bass?
I've noticed through my IEM journey that I'm a fan of treble, clarity, vocals, deep bass and punch when need be. What custom best suits that? I'm looking at all price ranges with of course the cheaper route being preferred; I don't want to skimp and lose out though, if something else is better...- ksimm033

Through this journey, I have learned I like treble and vocals
Thanks for the suggestions, I'll be checking out the silver dragon cable, PFE232 and possibly the Etymotic 4. My only concern with the Ety is the lack of bass. I do like a solid and deep bass in songs when it's needed. I just don't need extra.- ksimm033

How is the sound stage and separation on the CKW1000ANV and is there a difference between the anniversary or regular edition? How's the clarity on the UE900? Any other suggestions?- ksimm033

Through this journey, I have learned I like treble and vocals
Right now I listen to music using my W4Rs. I've noticed that when I get done at the gym using my M6s and then laydown to use my W4Rs, the W4Rs come off to warm (use medium star tips). I use a rockbox clip plus and have the treble set to +12, with everything else on default. I'm guessing this...- ksimm033

M6 Fit and Sound Questions
Im using the stock round tips (Med). They fit well and comfortable, but when in the gym, while running, the music can sound almost a little muffled at times. I run about 4 miles in 30 minutes, so I sweat pretty good. When I'm done and start to lift, it's hard to keep a good seal and I keep...- ksimm033

Will This Be Called The Westone "Epic" Tip?
Well I was more concerned with the sound signature comparison to the W4R and buying experience and then how they rank against different customs.- ksimm033

1964 Ears
How does the 1964 V6, 1964 Q, and 1964 V3 sound compared to the W4/R? Would it be conisdered an upgrade to get any one of the three? I plan on purchasing in about four months and right now, it looks like I will go with 1964 Ears or Heir 6/8. Thanks in advance.- ksimm033

The Monoprice MP9927 PG 208.. MP8320 (MEP-933)..The $7.11 club..
Quote: I gave another listen last night and enjoyed them more. I still reached for my ES18 to watch a movie though. Seems to be more convenient to put in on the fly. I do feel if I was to listen to music though and not use my W4s that I would use the 9927s over the ES18. I do appreciate the...- ksimm033

Yes they come with the 4Rs and they should also come with the the rest of the Westone True Fit headphone line. they started shipping them out with the headphones sometime in late NOV of last year. The new tip set (star tips in particular) that come with the W4Rs are a favorite (among those most of us that have them). They sound fantastic and are very comfortable. I would def start there and then try others. I think you will be quite surprised how Westone has improved the fit and comfort...- ksimm033

The Monoprice MP9927 PG 208.. MP8320 (MEP-933)..The $7.11 club..
After 40 hrs of burn in and covering up the ports on the inside, the bass is more pronounced and tighter. Still have very good clarity, but IMO is a little slow. On some of the songs I listen to, it seems the bass hits a little late or it's very faint. Other than that, I'm liking these for $10...- ksimm033
