Shame. Seems like Ultrasone Japan does a better job of keeping people informed than Ultrasone Germany do. I contacted Ultrasone myself about when Mk2 are coming out but didn't hear back. Plenty of other interesting new closed-backs coming out in any case.

Did you sample/see Suzi?

Yes, hard to say as there's been no reports. I would expect the final version to be colour matching, though. One thing I note is the optical and coax would seem to be out of use with Suzi, which is a bit of a shame. I hope the USB implementation is indeed an improvement from the stock Hugo 2...

I'll be curious to hear if it changes with some use. There's definitely a restrained presentation out of the box. I tried to figure out the Astell AMP stage, but couldn't get my head around it. It's class A/B, I guess, or class D? Overall, it's a great unit and very capable bedside unit.
