Yeah, Final kinda suck at communicating. I had to harassed them to RMA my headphone under warranty because I'm in EU and the original distributor in the US don't do international customers (Headphones.com)

Can't wait for final to pull out a 10 year warranty out for the first owners like Abyss. Have you thought about bringing them to an electronic repair shop ? They do insane soldering on laptops all the time, they might be able to do something for 200/300 bucks

Some units have it more than others, and some units not at all. My D8Kpro hard severe rattle, I sent it back to Japan for repair and they picked special drivers that doesn't rattle even at very high volume. But my D8Kpro LE still rattle and is within specs according to Final. I guess they test...

Your price is already great. The problem is that D8Kpro is a sleeper TOTL, everyone who got one loves it, and the people who never had one will only consider Susvara and 1266. Also the market is kinda down in general. My friend couldn't sell his Empyrean for more than 1.3k recently, that's tough.

My previous LE owner prefered the regular D8000, so that's my win ^^

After a 3 month separation, my D8000pro LE is back and it's now a limited limited since it's the first LE (that I know) to receive a Washi headband from the D7000. I think it's more fancy than the Leather headband and way way more confortable.
