Alpha Omega IEMs Thread
If you love the Orivetti OH700VB, you will like the Ra too. When I compared the Ra with the OH700VB, I found them equally good. Some aspects of Ra are better, and some of OH700VB. I may be lean towards Ra, if asked about my personal preference. Also, Ra needs a good amount of power, while...- nihalsharma

ISN Earphones impression thread. New ISN NEO 3!
Yes, I will change the cable after few days. It’s limiting the IEMs capability. It’s good to spend a decent time with the stock set up and then move on to change cable. The changes and refinement the better cables bring is very very satisfying.- nihalsharma

One word for this cable is - Wow. I paired this cable with 64Audio Fourte and the synergy is very good. The best part is - treble is still very controlled and the clarity in sound is amazing. Love this cable. I believe it’s gonna be a love affair for warm iems. Need to spend some more time.- nihalsharma

ISN Earphones impression thread. New ISN NEO 3!
I received the ISN Neo3 a couple of weeks ago, thanks to Penon Audio. This is my first time with an ISN IEM. I am putting down a brief impression of the Neo3. It has a hybrid configuration with 2 dynamic drivers and 1 planar driver. The two DD drivers handle the low and mid frequencies, and the...- nihalsharma

Low end. Cheap. Generic. Otherwise bang for buck cable thread!
Haha, yes, right. For a cable, it's not low-end (price-wise). Nevertheless, I found it had decent synergy with some IEMs I paired.- nihalsharma

Simgot IEM discussion thread.
Interesting comparison. The bass on Quintet is really nice, with decent texture. Supermix4 having a more bass can be more fun to listen to. Also, Quintet is a touch spicy for me, which may not be the case with Supermix 4. S4 should be an interesting release.- nihalsharma

Here is my detailed review of Alpha Omega Ra, an IEM that I find very capable. https://headfonics.com/alpha-omega-ra-review The Alpha Omega Ra has been a delightful surprise for me. I would like to suggest an eponymous action. This one is pulling an @aaf evo. Not sure it’s suggested already. Meaning: buy everything which is TOTL. Don’t like it sell it at a very low price and move on to the next one, no regrets.- nihalsharma

It’s really hard to choose one over the other. They are very very close in terms of performance. It’s hard to tell which is better or may be they are at exact same place. Good to have both in the collection, for sure.- nihalsharma

When I had compared the OH700VB and Ra, I found the bass on Ra to be cleaner and had a better texture. The bass line coming from different instruments was better distinguishable on Ra than OH700VB. The mids on OH700VB are a bit thinner than on Ra. I also found the OH700VB to be more...- nihalsharma

I remember the first time I tried the RN6 and XE6. There were some other iems too: Ragnar, Fourte and Jewel. I first tried the RN6, and it sounded so good. The bass was exactly what I had always craved for. Then I tried XE6 and did not like it much, mostly because of RN6 effect. It sounded a...- nihalsharma

I don't think it falls down in technicalities. It's good in technical aspects. I think the stage is pretty good. Nozzles do not change much, which I have mentioned in the review as well, and that's a thing with a lot of iems where there are tuning nozzles. Rest, I love the sound on it. It fits...- nihalsharma

The only thing they should have improved is the bass quantity on it, which they improved with the EA1000. The implementation is nearly same with a passive radiator on both in addition to the dd driver. However, the bass on the two iems are quite different in quantity. EA2000 has a good cable...- nihalsharma
