I assume you've go something to do/someone to see in Kerville as the drive to Boerne is only 35ish miles. Either way, welcome to TX. :beerchug:

Sorry if you’ve mentioned it previously, but what are you using for playback of your digital files? I was introduced to Radio Garden just recently and I’m enjoying it as well.

I’m very late to the party regarding Porcupine Tree but I’m really enjoying them now. My first exposure to Steven Wilson was his remixes of Jethro Tull and Yes albums which I think are excellent. If only all remixed/remastered albums sounded as good!

To piggyback on @Ableza’s comment above I also feel that my purchase of a lifetime Roon subscription is one of my best audio purchases. It isn’t for everyone, but for those of us who enjoy streaming audio AND have a large collection of digital media Roon is very hard to beat. There has been...

Roon is fairly agnostic when it comes to file types. You could digitize your LPs to FLAC/WAV/AIFF whatever and Roon would play them just fine. You would, however, need to spend some time getting the metadata correct on your files which would be a fairly significant undertaking. The metadata...

To be honest, I'm not in love with the BlueOS app especially when it comes to interacting with Qobuz. I do use Qobuz but I use the Roon interface. When/if Qobuz releases "Qobuz Connect" I think the Node would be a good solution for you.

I've got two of them and like them very much. I use them as Roon endpoints and my wife uses them for Spotify connect. I'll answer any questions that I can.

Green sky = bad sky. I’ve seen that several times just prior to a significant hail event or tornado.

Lol I’ll have you know I that yesterday I flew DFW-CZM-DFW-MEM and was EARLY on all three flights. My trip last week…not so much. Bad luck to start a trip just as a line of thunderstorms rolls through town.

Already ninja'd by @Timster but it doesn't always take storms to have ATC alter the flight paths. The first flightradar24 pic shows Southwest getting what are known as "delay vectors". That's simply ATC adding some space in order to sequence arrivals into SEA. The American Eagle and Alaska...

Thi This is one of the many reasons I enjoy using Roon. It allows one to view and listen to multiple versions of albums whether streamed as local files or Qobuz/Tidal. It also allows selecting a version as a default so that the favorite version is always selected first.

Besides Ripper and ThorCorps, there are at least two other Tekton owners on this thread that I'm aware of. Be careful or he'll name you in his suit. :scream:

Gregg Allman's Southern Blood was released four months after he passed. It was pretty clear from the song choices that he knew the end was near. Great album FWIW.

I watched the Erin's Audio vid yesterday. Not impressed with how Eric Alexander is handling this.

Can confirm. I'm on my third dedicated under cabinet ice maker. To be fair, the first was bought used. They are expensive to purchase and insanely unreliable and expensive to repair. It's true that they don't keep the ice frozen which is why it's always easy to scoop out. I hate trying to...

I sent a two year old LG front loader to the landfill because I would have felt guilty even giving it away to an unsuspecting person. Nobody deserves that. Buying it was a VERY expensive mistake.
