Guys, this is the electrical noise, noise floor. the noise the dac/amp circuit makes is maybe from the volume/gain control.- gmalik

Sorry but, none of them! It's the same noise issue that caused other users to buy a low thrust op amp card.- gmalik

XDUoo XD05PRO
That why? Soundnews, headfonics, headphonesty and I could list the testers who didn't experience noise! The author (Sandu) of the Soundnews used Hiby zeta with xduoo xd05 pro and there was no noise! Hiby zeta!!!!! Maybe this is the most sensitive iems in the world!- gmalik

XDUoo XD05PRO
Please understand! I use less ultra-sensitive earphones (performer 8&5, ikko oh10, ie600) I hear a lot of noise on all IEMs, it's unpleasant! all three units i've owned are equally noisy on bluetooth/usb/aux input! All 3 units come from one seller! The seller most likely received faulty units...- gmalik

An xduoo engineer could tell you that, but they won't tell it. This is high floor noise, only heard on iems, almost all of them (planar iems not sure). It can be caused by a volume control component in my opinion.- gmalik

The noise will be quieter with this card, but still audible. Anyway, I won't spend 800 eur on a “defective” product. I spoke with the seller from Shenzhen and he should give feedback to the manufacturing company on how many noisy units were returned!- gmalik

XDUoo XD05PRO
Nope! Tests talk about how sensitive IEMs are not noisy or barely audible on low gain! I have a low amp card but I will send xd05pro back if I get a noisy unit! By the way, xduoo has admitted this manufacturing defect!- gmalik

Shanling M5 Ultra - High-End MTouch Portable Player - Releasing in April 2024
Sorry, but Hiby r6 pro 2 is better in almost everything! More lifelike/realistic reproduction, more 3d stage! For hiby more neutral tone, but sweet like a honey. Hiby It is slightly weak in dynamics, but more precise and more layer in a low freq. Shanling is warmer, more dynamic, more fun, it...- gmalik

I also have M5U and I had hiby r5 gen2 and cayin ru7 in the last year. Hiby r5 gen 2 preceded it in dynamics, with a less analog sound in the middle, but a softer and more realistic tone in class A mode than cayin ru7. Shanling m5u is better than hibyr5gen2 in everything, so there is no question...- gmalik

Shanling M5 Ultra - High-End MTouch Portable Player - Releasing in April 2024
I use these bluetooth transmitters connected to Ps5. They work flawlessly with all other players. If I understand correctly, if I want to use the M5U as a bluetooth receiver, should I not enter the pairing menu? I'm going to try it today but I doubt it will work as it never found the M5U device...- gmalik

Shanling M5 Ultra - High-End MTouch Portable Player - Releasing in April 2024
Thank you for writing to me. I want to use the M5U as a receiver, or I just would like to use it, because it only works with my laptop, phone, and tablet, so need smart operation device. If I want to pair an simply external bluetooth transmitter with the M5U, the shanling dap does not see it in...- gmalik
