Anybody switch from the beloved LIM to the MIB cards in their Yggy? If so, is it worth price? Whats the biggest difference? Any insight would be helpful.

Just decided the take the mantle mesh off my caldera since it was taming the treble too much for my taste while smoothing out the sparkle and air from the top end. After going through the last 7-10 pages of this thread, i slapped on a pair of caldera thicks and now I cant take the hp off my ears...

I would honestly say that the Pmax sounds like the little brother of the Bliss. Pmax sounds like it has a great balance between the mids and the top end. Ma' man. I swap between the caldera ultra perf variants with my VO and AO and I have ended my research on Suedes on VO and Lambskin on the AO.

Kinda. Sorta. But not really. My genuinely absolute fav on the list is my Diana TC. I think caldera, depending on the amp) takes a close second mostly because of the unmatched bass of the TC. But Other than that, the rest are just my overall liking of each, not necessarily based on sound alone...

While i m still deciding between Audeze vs Dekoni pads, I chose to slap on a pair of old dekoni elite fenestrated lambskin pads that i was able to salvage from my LCD-X before I traded it. Surprisingly, it was a huge step up. Comfort is through the roof, no more fazor marks on my right ear...

Just joined the lcd 4 club after 6 years of owning every iteration on the beloved lcdx. The lcd4 acquired through a trade came in pristine condition except the pads look a little compressed despite being less than 2 years old. Also the newer Audeze pads are thinner so ears are touching the fazor...

how come the high gain/ +15db mode sound better to me than the normal +0 db gain mode? or is it just me? Even with efficient headphones like LCD X, 660s2 and Zmf Bokeh. Can someone clarify my preposterous claims?? LOL
