I think the Gryphon is a great choice for the convenience and sound quality you are seeking. I have had a Gryphon for quite a while and although I can't comment on your specific cans, I have never heard anything I have to sound bad on it, it is one of my favorite recommendations from our Lineup...

I mentioned it as a favorite of mine, but as of yet (I don't know if it will come) is not on the GO Pods, it is in Zen DAC, GO Blue, Kensei, and up to the Pro iDSD series. It's GTO (Gibbs Transient Optimized) and to me provides a "fuller" sound than some other filters I have heard. More Here...
