This is true except the tips will affect the sound more than the cable so I'd say the dollar to effect ratio is way way way way better with tips. I will admit I felt a little off ordering four tips for 50 bucks but they seemed unique and they do something no other tips I have, Do. And I have...- PixelSquish

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
This May I will turn one year older, not looking forward to it. But I may received the Aviot ZX1 and the Pilgrim if we get lucky. Those I'm looking forward to!- PixelSquish

If any of y'all have the Quattro and the Correir Brass tips, I would urge you combine them. I find it a great pairing, curios to hear thoughts from those who have had the Quattro longer, I've only had them about two weeks.- PixelSquish

to ask a polite question is to troll? That's fascinating. As someone pointed out, it's a reasonable thing to ask if you are newer to the thread but have enough time under your belt. And the answers and following posts on the subject were all reasonable as well. until yours.- PixelSquish

I don't think he was talking about the latest release date, but that it is available on Android. It is. But from the reviews it seems they have some bugs to work out. Looks like they are aware of it so trying to think positive they are better at apps than iFi. Actually, everyone is better at...- PixelSquish

That one has looked intriguing from the specs, but I did not ready any impressions? Are they in this thread I can search for them. I prefer a hybrid to a single DD as well so it's perfect in that regard.- PixelSquish

I read some Quattro posts in this thread, have many more people gotten it? You are comparing various product reasons to not buy them vs not supporting a terrible person. Big difference.- PixelSquish

Elysian Pilgrim
All my testing at CanJam was done via an iFi Go Blue or A&K HB1. I had the RU7 with me but didn't use it. Also just heard some bad news, Pilgrim won't be available until June now as per an email from Musicteck.- PixelSquish

Elysian Pilgrim
I'll have to try them one more time with more tips. I used the tips that gave me a great seal with basically every one of the IEM's I tried at CanJam, which was like close to 15 pairs, and that worked perfect with a similar wide nozzle the Pilgrim have. If they sound the same when I try them...- PixelSquish

Elysian Pilgrim
I listened to the Anni and Pilgrim at NYC Canjam side by side. Same tips. To me the Anni sound lifeless. It's just great treble and nice mids but so little bass the music has no soul to it to me. Just don't really like them. Then I put the Pilgrim on and I was smiling instantly. Such a better...- PixelSquish

I do have the LCD-X '21 and it's my favorite headphone but I have a separate amp/dac - but for the LCD-X, I think the amp part to be a decent hybrid tube setup is important. Those X's sing through my monoprice liquid platinum with good tubes. It's mind blowingly good. I would look out for...- PixelSquish

Thanks. Yeah I keep hearing stories like yours which is why I had to buy them. I do prefer a hybrid IEM and besides a couple Noble products the rest are mostly single DD In the tws scene. Which I love too but I prefer a hybrid or a multi-driver if it has at least a DD for Bass- PixelSquish
