    The thicker parts are always positioned at the back for all ZMF pads. If you're using the Auteur pads or any other non-Caldera pads, make sure the stitching aligns with the gimbal, as shown in the picture below. For the Caldera pads, align the stitching with the cable connector.

    The gap is quite noticeable with the Atrium when comparing with just the Mojo 2 vs with my tube amp (Icon Audio HP8).     Sure, the Mojo 2 can handle the Atrium, but if you're not thinking of getting a decent amp in the future, you might want to consider a different headphone like the Bokeh.
