Yeah they just feel so well put together and they look amazing too. I love that they have a big soundstage and have thumpy bass which is a rarity ime. The comfort really can't be understated, they are much more comfortable than both the 800S and the Arya/HE1K.

Meze Empyrean. I love my Stax L700Mk2 but as a daily driver it just isn’t as comfortable and easy listening.

I used to own the LCD-3, LCD-24, LCD-i4 and currently own the LCD-5 and iSine10 so I am pretty fond of Audeze and have read through a good portion of the those along with the 4z and 4 threads on here pretty thoroughly.

Yellow/Gold was the original mesh color and copper is on the newer version or if they were updated which it would appear these are. I mostly asked because I think the copper mesh looks much better than the yellow/gold.

Thank you for the input! I plan on also grabbing some replacement ZMF pads as well which appear to be a little thicker so maybe that will help bring back some of that clamp force.
