@Bret Halford Does the 808 have a mid bass bump like the 616 does? The mid bass on 616 is too prominent for my tastes. It stands out above everything else. Do the 616 and 808 use the same hinge parts that are on the 610?

The pad ear opening is a little too small for my ears. Has anyone tried after market pads with their 616s? I haven't pulled the pads off yet, but when prying them back I see what looks like the white mounting disc that's used in some of the 900 series products. I'm running mine with Denafrips...

Bumping this to see if any DT 1990 users have tried the ZMF pads… Does the lip of the ZMF pad stay in the mounting groove/slot on the 1990 when installing it, or can the pad be folded over itself like Zach does in the video for other Beyerdynamic?
