Fully agree. I could have stuck with my wm1z with og solaris or shanling m8 with ve elysium and called it a day. I still use my np modded wm1z daily. Amazing sound and long battery life plus no back ground noise with iems. I can detect some background noise with the newer wm1am2.

I have more expensive daps but I think my ie900 sound best with the fiio m11 plus ess. Could call it a day with this set up to be honest

I've tried and owned many daps and most all sound pretty neutral to me, other than the wm1am2. This isn't to say I don't enjoy the Sony as I do, but it isn't as neutral as my fiio m11 plus ess.

I'm thinking of selling my lyrics as I work at home and don't need closed backs. I am thinking of getting the empy2. Do these need a lot of power or will a dap power them fine?

How much are these new players going to cost?

I've tried many headphones over the years and I think I'm sticking with the stellia. I've enjoyed audeze and zmf headphones but they are too heavy and hurt my neck and back. What amp/dac have you found to have hood synergy with the stellia?

I'm a big fan of the Hemps. I use them all of the time with a wm1am2 and bifrost2 > valhalla2 or topping a90. Which grado would be an upgrade on it. I listen to everything from classical to ambient, edm and jazz

The etymotic er4 xr sounds fantastic out of the wm1am2. Not expensive and a great sound.

Etymotic er4 xr is a classic. Still very relevant today. I use mine regularly

I found a UK seller with the Japanese versions for sale. I'd love the wm1zm2 but it's out of my price range these days

I own an npaudio modded original wm1z and use the m9 with it. Was thinking about getting either the wm1am2 or wm1zm2 but have also pondered on getting the far cheaper moondrop miad01. How does that sound with the m9?

I use the ier m9 daily. Kind of wish I could afford a 2nd set. I'm thinking of getting the moondrop phone. Does it pair well with the m9? I need to sell some of the daps and iems I've collected. I have way too many
