Chord Mojo 2 Thread ___ [product released January 31, 2022 -- starting on page 95 of thread]

Works fine on my Mesh of Asus ZenWiFi Pro ET12's. Most home networks won't have the authentication setup you describe. I'd venture that's not the market Chord aimed at as this is a consumer product, not an Enterprise solution.

Chord Mojo 2 Thread ___ [product released January 31, 2022 -- starting on page 95 of thread]

Congratulations on the purchase. You want the Mojo to handle volume control to whatever you are listening on. The smartphone should send a "bit-perfect" signal to Mojo 2. Do you have a specific app you are using to playback your music? I ask as dedicated apps usually have a bit-perfect option...

Hugo M Scaler by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread

Thanks for the tip. Sounds amazing. It reminded me of an interview I read last year when I wanted to add his music to my playlist, then forgot all about it. https://www.theguardian.com/culture/2023/sep/07/herb-alpert-on-80-years-in-music-mozart-thelonious-monk-all-of-us-have-the-same-12-notes

Hugo M Scaler by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread

I would have thought the equipment listed in your signature would show an audible difference between upsampling and no upsampling. I have a Cambridge Audio MXN10 which I connect to the M-Scaler via toslink. It comes with a decent app and I'm happy with what the M-Scaler does with it. Could you...

Chord Mojo 2 Thread ___ [product released January 31, 2022 -- starting on page 95 of thread]

I thought I would try Mojo 2 with the M-Scaler. I don't have the right cable so I've never done it. I think what really put me off trying it, was the fact I may then need to upgrade my Grado's if the M-Scaled Mojo 2 sounded closer to the TT2. My wallet can't sustain that abuse.

Chord Mojo 2 Thread ___ [product released January 31, 2022 -- starting on page 95 of thread]

I have all 3. Mojo 2, M-Scaler & TT2. I can appreciate your view. I probably wouldn't have bought TT2 on its own. What the M-Scaler does to it is transformational. The TT2 comes to life and is such a thrilling listen. I have to caveat this by saying the M-Scaler & TT2 are the core of my...

Tough one. I'd lean to the TT2 & M Scaler. Alternatively, you could buy Dave and start saving for the new Quartet Scaler (designed for Dave) that will be launched this year....

Hugo TT 2 by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread

As with any component in a system, the benefit differential varies. My TT2 & M Scaler are the heart of my loudspeaker setup. The kids are at the age where headphones are no longer necessary for my listening habit. I tried the TT2 with my previous Linn amplifier, it really did nothing. Introduce...

If you find the TT2 fatiguing, I can thoroughly recommend the M Scaler. When budget allows of course. It transformed my TT2. For now though, kick back and enjoy

Chord Mojo 2 Thread ___ [product released January 31, 2022 -- starting on page 95 of thread]

The manual says the following : If all four inputs are connected simultaneously, Mojo 2 will auto-select the correct input when music is played to the device. Mojo 2 will prioritise specific inputs if all four are connected simultaneously. USB has priority followed by coaxial and then...

Chord Mojo 2 Thread ___ [product released January 31, 2022 -- starting on page 95 of thread]

I bought my Mojo2 the week it was released. If I leave it playing from a full charge via a loudspeaker in my office, I still get 7 hours continuous usage before the "click" when the battery gives up.

I'm running Android Gofigure, mine also said the same when plenty of forum users had already updated. When you click through to the firmware status page, can you tap on the text that says the status? I did that and Poly magically downloaded and ran the update. This may or may not work for you...

It isn't looking good. The router would still see Poly as all WIFI devices are always scanning and looking for networks. If it isn't showing in the Router log, then all you can do is contact Chord support, or try and get a refund from whoever sold you the Poly.

That probably rules out firmware compatibility as a problem. Even though you haven't authenticated with your WIFI yet, Poly should try to connect. When Poly is flashing blue, can you see it in your Router log? That would at least show it is trying to work. As you've ruled out bluetooth, on a...

Flashing blue LED indicates Poly is searching for a WIFI network, which you'd expect as you haven't set it up yet. To use the config pin, you need to listen for the audio prompt through Mojo. Which Mojo do you have, original or Mojo 2?

    Watts Up...?

Surely this can be done today in software? E. G. Using an Android app and letting the mobile control the volume. The issue then becomes the quality of the source audio as the stream is no longer bitperfect into HMS or the DAC.

I'm only a casual gamer. Was very happy with my Logitech setup, but one day I thought I'd see how the Mojo2 sounded via USB from my PC. I was dumbfounded by the quality of the in game audio. The accuracy of the sound placement in game was astonishing and made it a much more immersive (and at...

If it all works fine on the other router, and all the above on the new router, the problem appears obvious. It's the router. Check settings.

Really obvious question to ask, but you never know, the new router, does it support 2.4Ghz WIFI? Poly only works on that standard so if you only have 5Ghz or even 6Ghz enabled, Poly can't connect. Do you use Gofigure? Does Poly see your network in Gofigure?

Hugo TT 2 by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread

I was going to suggest you bluetooth the Sony or other device to TT2 and see if that is the same. If you have that issue with M Scaler (I assume via BNC), it looks like it's a return to the factory for the TT2
