LG V60 ThinQ smartphone
My bulging V60 battery has been extracted from the phone...having switched to Samsing Fold I'm not sure it's worth the hassle of trying to replace it vs just buying a decent dongle.- GoodEnoughGear

Mola Mola Tambaqui DAC (and headphone amp)
Should be no issue, the input impedance should be high enough not to be an issue. What is the input impedance for the power amps and sub?- GoodEnoughGear

Digital to Digital Converter, converting USB (typically) to Digital Coax/Optical/AES. For example Singxer SU-1: https://kitsunehifi.com/product/singxersu1black/- GoodEnoughGear

You'd have to use a DDC for coaxial. For USB no problem, use Universal Audio Player Pro or Neutron.- GoodEnoughGear

I'd look at a Pi2AES for that Pi. http://www.pi2design.com/store/p19/PI2AES_-_PRO_AUDIO_SHIELD.html- GoodEnoughGear

Do different DACS sound different?
For now I'd ignore the WHAT you are listening to and focus on the HOW: https://www.soundgym.co/ Play with EQ, play with free effects and just learn to hear the subtleties of musical reproduction. Then come back and see if DACs make a difference or not for yourself.- GoodEnoughGear

Outclasses it in features, not outright. Vox is "close" to WaveDream sig bal per the post above. Also this is up in the realm of personal preference.- GoodEnoughGear

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
Check with Schiit before they ship - I believe a difference in frequency 50/60hz is an issue so a simple transformer will not work...not sure about the Netherlands but guessing you will differ from the U.S..- GoodEnoughGear

Violectric DHA V590 DAC/AMP - Blue Velvet
I'm also running DAC1541, but through an EC Black Widow 2 where the DAC1541 does balance the warmth of the BW nicely. Sounds somewhat similar to your scenario, except BW2 is likely even warmer. My concern is the V590 may be a sidegrade at best to the Soekris. I'm hearing vague hints of new...- GoodEnoughGear

Violectric DHA V590 DAC/AMP - Blue Velvet
@Fegefeuer thanks for your comments vs Liquid Crimson, that really does help. I'm curious if there's a DAC that seems similar to the V590 so we can get a relative impression?- GoodEnoughGear

New Amp from HeadAmp - GS-X Mini
This isn't an absolute - it depends on the cans/monitors hooked up to it. You want decent travel on the volume pot, and that depends on what you have connected to it. Adjust input 'til you have the travel you want on the volume pot for your scenario.- GoodEnoughGear

OK, so I've had the V60 with dual screen case in hand for several days now. I got my first chance to run it through a comparison with my trusty V30 for the first time today. I'll attend to the phone in general later, and there are plenty fo reviews out there in detail for the full lowdown. This...- GoodEnoughGear

New, Burson Conductor 3 Reference: Dual 9038 DAC, 7.5Wpc Head Amp, Preamp, Changeable Opamps
Yep you're going to need a transformer like the Jensen that can pad down the output. I don't see a spec for the output voltage on the line outs, but at worst if that's even too hot for the amp you can attenuate on the variable output.- GoodEnoughGear

ECP Audio T4 Headphone Amplifier - Built and Sold by BeezarAudio
The only way to know for sure is to go for it. Only your ears will know. BUT... Is there a restocking fee? What will shipping cost both ways to find out? What if it needs warranty/servicing? Is Zeos the reviewer whose taste in sound matches yours? 'Best in class' and 'never seen' seem mutually...- GoodEnoughGear
