For a warmer full body sound, I always like the suede pads. I am not as sensitive to brightness as others, so I am not the best person to ask on that one.

Cayin HA-300MK2 (2022) TOTL Transformer coupled Direct Heated Triode Tube HeadAmp (Page 91)

I know there have been folks out there that have used Bliss as a pre. I thought about it but never did as I never thought it was needed. Plus having the 300MKII and my Bliss on at the same time would suck up more power than I think it's worth. It's SET and has plenty of headroom for Susvara. I...

At this point I think you have to ask yourself (Phone\Battery\Dongle) is how do you tie it all together into something you...

ZMF BOKEH - Closed Back (Semi-Portable)

Agreed, I love listening to these on the 300MKII. During the day at the office on the RS6 DAP, but then get home and put them on the Bliss or the 300MKII and you realize how well they scale. When I switched to the Hybrid pads last night, the bass reaches even deeper. I think these are my...

ZMF BOKEH - Closed Back (Semi-Portable)

Ok I found a method of pad swapping that works for me. It's a combination of BeelzAlBob's and a variation of Zach's method in the Bokeh video. I use BeelzAlBob's method to get the pad about halfway done. Using this method alone does not get me there at a certain point it gets really hard to get...

    Holo Audio Spring R2R DAC

I've only seen one YT review on it, and it was a very general review, without a lot of detail. In the end he said he liked it and would consider swapping and selling his Spring 3. One very brief review posted. https://www.head-fi.org/threads/holo-cyan-2-a-super-brief-review.971492/...

Thats the Coffee Gold when you choose the aged oak finish. It's the one I chose day one instead of the Kingwood. The way that Coffee Gold grill catches the light just spoke to me far more than the Kingwoods Silver grill.

ZMF BOKEH - Closed Back (Semi-Portable)

I'm the exact opposite. Was never a fan of closed backs. Hearing what Zach has done with the Atrium and the Caldera open convinced me to purchase the Bokeh as my first closed back and after hearing the Bokeh it solidified my need to purchase the Caldera Closed. For the most part I feel my...

There are going to be people who are going to have passionate views on both sides. Respect both sides point of view. People who are big on cables should not call those who are not big on cables tone deaf, and people who are not big on cables should not call people who are big on cables fools...

The only thing I would want to improve comfort would be an equivalent BBB strap for the Bokeh. Having that slight suspension has helped me with fit and weight distribution on the Atrium and Caldera.

ZMF BOKEH - Closed Back (Semi-Portable)

I was surprised as well that I had to turn it up to high gain on the M11. I'm not really an IEM guy, as I only use them when I have a headache and I can't deal with the clamp from an over ear, or when traveling. On the M11 I always had to run all my IEMs on medium gain where other DAPS I had...

ZMF BOKEH - Closed Back (Semi-Portable)

On both the M11 and the RS6 I run 4.4. I run XLR on my desktop setup, and for the Bokeh I use my heart audio cable system. It allows me to switch from the DAP to my desktop without having to constantly pull and switch cables on the headphones to move from 4.4 to XLR. I personally don't like...

ZMF BOKEH - Closed Back (Semi-Portable)

I have the M11 Plus as my back up DAP, and I agree the soundstage width and depth is more intimate. It's also a little underpowered compared to other DAPs I've owned in $700 price range. On my RS6 low gain at 70 out of 100 on the volume dial and you get plenty of soundstage, mids and bass you...

ZMF BOKEH - Closed Back (Semi-Portable)

I've run the Bokeh with the Bliss, HA-300MKII, and the Hiby RS6. It sounds lovely with all 3, and I don't prefer one or the other. It depends on my mood or what I'm doing. I work in the office 2 to 3 days a week, and it's great being able to bring these to the office, using the RS6 and not be...

I'm 99% sure it is coming from the power supply. Last night when I put the original fuse back in the humming got louder. I just want to change all the fuses with something a little bit higher grade. Not anything crazy like a purple fuse, that's why I'm thinking ceramic.
