    Earbuds Round-Up

Hi! Is there an earbuds shell larger than the MX500 shell? Particularly interested in a size of the stem part. It's for DIY purposes so I'm in search of a DIY shell or cheap earbuds to scavenge.

Yuin PK-1 replacement advice - non in-ear wired buds

Yuin PK1 and PK2 are close to neutral sound signature. PK1 are a bit brighter than the PK2 to my ears. If a diameter of 14.8 mm and 15.4 mm is equally comfortable for you, I would suggest to try any popular 15.4 mm MX500 earbuds with neutral sound drivers. Dirty cheap RY4S will surprise you with...

Dear DAP Manufacturer(s)... a Product Request / iDea from a Boomer.

    1) 4.4 Balanced + 3.5 SE would raise the price. 2) The lack of a screen significantly limits navigation. I'd rather like some kind of contemporary Sansa Clip+ with BT. 3.5mm output is OK.

Anyone recommend a portable bluetooth player with physical buttons(not touch screen, or in addition to touch screen)?

Maybe it would be better to use some kind of remote control to smartphone or to use smartwatch with physical buttons, capable of playing music through bluetooth.

    Earbuds Round-Up

Headroom MS16 has microphone and controls, if you really need a mic try Boarseman K25, they are neutral earbuds. There are variants without mic: QianYun Qian25, also neutral, slightly better then K25. As for metal and other heavy genres I recommend anyone to try QianYun Qian69, they are mid bass...

    Shanling M0 - Smallest Hi-Res Portable Player - New Firmware V3.6

M0 and Radstone ES100 should sound different because of different DAC/amplification circuit. M0 has ESS ES9218P DAC chip, Radsone Earstudio ES100 has AK4375a (dual DAC scheme). Both DACs have their own integrated headphone amp on chip. But maybe there are more sophisticated implementation of...

    XDuoo X3 DSD 24Bit / 192KHz CS4398 Chip Lossless Music Player

I'm not an audiophile, but from my point Xduoo X3 is definitely upgrade from my old nice Sansa Clip+ in terms of sound quality . X3 in the first place captured my attention with it's bass speed and tightness. The midrange is also very differs from Clip+, let's say X3 midrange have more "thickness".
