My amps' stock rectifier tube 5Ц4С had four pins and it also worked with the likes of Mullard GZ30 which had about five pins, so not sure if I would need an adapter for the UX-280. Or is the later 80 tube is more recommended? Rectifier tubes in my amp really COOK though, measured at around 450°...

The UX-280 also looks interesting. And wow, it's almost 100 years old. I've done some digging and it seems it may work, but do you concur if it's replaceable with a GZ30? The code abbreviations seemed a little different between the two but the numbers were similar.

Cable comparison on the same component wouldn't be practical in my system due to location and removing it would break power to the chain. Feel free to get a 12AWG Schuko AC Power Cable, they're pretty cheap. Maybe you could chime in on the difference.
