It’s probably a dac sync thing with my Bitfrost

Finally my zen is working as advertised and enjoying it with Tidal connect- but noticed a quirkily thing- once I hit connect and start playing the track no sound comes out until I hit next track and then music start playing. Not a deal breaker but something that I noticed.

For those that want a little tube taste, i am using the XDUOO TA-20 no issues driving the Argons. Also I used a Geshelli Archer 2.5 xl amp. I think sometimes people go with extreme with the amount of power, for me these two amps are affordable and sound good. just my two cents

I have the Z-10i and i use a Schiit Bitfrost 2, satisfied, not in any rush to spend thousands on a DAC. the denafrips aries was good but didn't like my iMac.

Thinking of adding a GL 2 to supplement my LTA-Z10 with Sony Z1R, I love the LTA with my ZMF Verite, but with the more sensitive Z1R i dont like it as much because of the higher noise floor.

I believe the headphone amp of the MZ-3 and the Z-10i are the same specs. Not sure about the Z40, You might want to ask Nicholas at LTA but thats my understanding.

One thing with Decware is the long waitlist to get the product from what I’ve read. But they have a good reputation for quality same as LTA

Anybody using the exclusive setting 3 for tidal. I can't not freaking connect to Tidal connect when on exclusive mode, not sure what its going on. Are there any specific instructions to activate this setting? it works when 1 is selected.

Question on the power button. Turning unit on just a quick press, to turn off i have to press for two seconds. Is that normal?
