I think they choose SEA cause they don't want their technology to be stolen and pirated. A lot of Japan companies are now setting up companies all over SEA in Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, etc. Those top secret technology items will be still Made in Japan.

    Acoustune HS1695TI / HS1655CU impressions.

Some online impressions 1695 vs 1697 according some audio facebook page. 1697 is more refined, better resolution, layering and width than 1695 1697 has lesser low mids than 1695 1697 sounds thinner than 1695. 1697 is extremely neutral and balanced.

    Acoustune HS1695TI / HS1655CU impressions.

You can try or get them at Zepplin and Co. I think they have full range of Acoustune for testing and local distributor. It comes with default 3.5mm cable, you can try/buy extra balanced cable from them too. I would suggest you try different songs and song type. The soundstage might be big or...

From what I know Sennheiser IEM and some Custom IEM brand are using Pentaconn Ear. Sennheiser seems to have good sound reviews for their IEM with Pentaconn Ear plug. Just that their plastic shell looks cheap which people complains.

    Acoustune HS1695TI / HS1655CU impressions.

I think those are probably Pentaconn Ear version of 1650/mass release 1655 and 1670. While 1697 is the mass release version of 1695

If you want a larger difference will be 1695Ti, it's driver is a metal coated one instead of the normal one in 1655/1650/1670

They will remove the bottom cover of the IEM and mold the custom on, you will get back the unused parts.

Seems like you need to send in your Acoustune IEM for this custom. Cost about $450USD. Can be returned to Universal at a cost.

Yup I am still using 3.02 as it has best synergy with my setup. My favourite region is E2. Provide me with power and concert venue effect with my setup.

You would probably want to check out Dynamic Drivers IEM. Like the Campfire ones that someone mentioned or from Acoustune will be good too. You might want to put it on High Gain or Test out different Region or firmwares if you want.

Jupiter 3.01 T1 is a good fw. Probably one of my favourites.

    SONY NW-WM1Z / WM1A

Yes E2 is louder and powerful. You need to reduce your volume a few clicks than your usual listening volume to enjoy it. For my setup on 3.02. E I play it at about 72-75. E2 I play it at 65-68

    SONY NW-WM1Z / WM1A

You should use the fw that is to your DAP's original region. You can only change region software wise but not hardware wise.
  19. blazinblazin

    SONY NW-WM1Z / WM1A

It's just synergy. I still went back to E2 region fw 3.02 after testing the firmwares for my setup. Other firmware will be better if I use another IEM

So we can safely say sound change by software can be programmable but not measureable. Those who measure sound only measure up to certain degree of sound but not whole aspect of it.
