I don’t think you have to worry, they Lyr3 is a solid amp. I have two myself (one home and in office) that have been chugging along fine for years, including tube swaps - but I’ve found what I like so I don’t swap tubes often :)

An RCA Y-splitter or Y-cable would work fine for this, for example (there are lots of alternatives in all kinds of price ranges): (one for each channel)

Electrical tape is your friend here, tape red around each of the three connectors on one Y splitter, and white around each of the three connectors on the other Y splitter. I have done this on the non-split non-coloured RCAs from my amp as well, makes it very easy to move things around without...

It depends on what you need. From a practical sense, Saga has more switchable inputs (4 vs 2) and also two outputs (but no headphone out). So if you want to be able to switch more inputs and perhaps another (RCA) output go Saga. If you’re happy with the inputs and output of the Lyr+ and want to...

Possibly, but my best guess would be that some other component in the output stage might have been out of spec from the manufacturer. Tubes are pretty sturdy things, and once culled for bad apples usually work reliably in the long run. If you don’t mind my asking, how did you get the tube in...
