RME ADI-2 DAC Thread
Most probably volume match, try running the SMSL deliberately lower see if the difference persists Should not need high gain unless you max out at low, in fact you get better performance noise etc on low- Dogmatrix

HiFiman HE-500 (HE as in High End) Proving to be an enjoyable experience in listening.

Stay clear of anything smooth nonporous like leather or similar they are too reflective Dekoni or Beyer are reasonably priced and much better quality so will last longer cost less overall- Dogmatrix

I get it, perhaps my head is just in a bad place, but I am increasingly seeing a sum negative I don't see the current situation as that bad, in the recent case the mechanisms in place worked eventually I think the personal application of disengagement is the least worst option, continuing...- Dogmatrix

I was looking from a troll perspective, which was uncomfortably comfortable As an accidental troll the condensed message goes something like Who dares enter here Prostrate yourself before us Lest you be judged unworthy Over dramatic but it paints a picture mostly of deterrent. eBay purchase. Amp with channel imbalance.
Wow, you Americans have rubbish consumer law In Australia an item must be in marketable condition unless specifically described otherwise Check with eBay as I know their policy generally Favours the customer If all else fails sounds like it would not be a difficult fix at a tech shop- Dogmatrix
