FX Audio DAC-X6 vs O2 ODAC amplifier
Thanks for the information. I might keep an eye on for good headphone amplifier (solid state) that can drive HD6XX well. I already have the Little Mk 2 with upgraded tubes hooked to SMSL M100 MK2- nofacemonster

Does anyone know how good is the output of general mobile phones like oppo, xiaomi, etc?
At the moment I am listening to my HD6XX on my stationary setup. I think there is a noticeable difference (especially in the bass department) in quality than running it directly with the phone. I only need the portable option when there is lightning going on around. It is not safe to use...- nofacemonster

Any ideas on how to fix this? (HD6XX)
Yeah! lol, probably my first modding ever....! I am strictly a stock stuff guy, from headphones to my motorcycle and car. Always stick to factory specifications, stick to the manual etc. Now I see the fun everyone is talking about, but I still don't dare to do anything beyond this point. HD6xx...- nofacemonster

Any ideas on how to fix this? (HD6XX)
Absolutely true.... At the moment I am listening to "Mazzy Star" on my HD6XX with that newly added mesh. (FX Audio DAC-X6 --- > LD MK2 ---> HD6XX), I really didn't know that it could sound so detailed. With these meshes, I feel like "Sound Stage is wider", Highs are crispier and even the Bass is...- nofacemonster

Any ideas on how to fix this? (HD6XX)
The foam which used wasn't a good idea, it made me feel like im using a closed back headphones. My wife came up with this idea... She gave me this net to try on. FX-Audio DAC-X6 initial impressions
I read the audioscience review on the FX Audio DAC-X6, according to their review, it is very bad, but is it really audible? i mean I am not listening to music in a LAB, just in my room with a HD-6XX and some Flacs and phone connected to the dac.- nofacemonster
