If anyone wants to bring extra power cables, i have a nice collection of stock cables to compare with. Also do people wander about with their own sources? I am unbalanced so all my gear is rca input, with TRS out.- studeb

eXStatA Build Thread II
Q3 and Q4 are not mounted facing the same way. Looking from the top, one long side is shorter than the other. That shorter side (with the marking IIRC) goes toward the close edge on Q3 and away on Q4. Look at the old thread posts 1266 and 1271, you can sort of see the orientation there.- studeb

As an update, mounting screws for Mosfets and 3X7 regs are about 60 degrees C That is after about an hour idling. I do see very large offsets on power up.- studeb

Thanks guys, Sachu, that is mosfet i have in my mind to set this up as a speaker amp in the end, but that will be a while off. i think your estimate of three hours was pretty good, for you. I think it was proabably closer to four for mortals like me.- studeb
