Closed Headset Recommendation? Sony V6 - or other?

Thanks very much to everyone for your input. After some further research on these recommendations, I went with the ATH-M50. It is ordered and on its way!! Main reason was isolation and what was reported on its performance. In an ideal world I would probably have liked to go and get an Senn...

Closed Headset Recommendation? Sony V6 - or other?

I do listen to R&B and Hip-hop, but within that I still like my base tight rather than boomy. Also what about the Sennheiser HD-600? Are the completely open or do they isolate at all? I am more concerned with blocking external sound from coming in than I am with me bothering people. It is...

Closed Headset Recommendation? Sony V6 - or other?

I am looking for a set of good quality closed headphones to use at work. I need to block external sound out and also not disturb other folks. Willing to spend up to $250 probably not more than that. But if the best value is below $100, I dont really have to spend it all. For context, my...

Could you share opinions with a first-time poster: ER6 or ER6i?

The Er-6i foam is shaped in a tapered way and easier to insert - but its pink and gets dirty in about 10 seconds, no matter how much you clean you ears. Even reading a newspaper - and getting newsprint on your hands - will make them dirty. ER-6 foamies are grey and less likely to look bad -...

    Smallest portable FLAC player?

The day you drop the player - and you will when working out - you will realize that there is an ocean of difference between flash and hard drive. One which "buffering" is irrelevant to.

Best portable for sound quality - IPOD still hard to beat?

Cowon's sound is far better than Ipod IMO, and has been for long time. Sales numbers are not equal to sound quality. UI of Cowon is fine as well. Its quite intuitive once you own it for a short while.
