IIRC @zach915m is doing them in limited batches so as not to get backlogged...I'm sure he'll make an announcement once the service is available again.- jinxy245

ZMF Caldera - New Planar Magnetic from ZMF!
By far the easiest I've used as well. Each mounting approach does have pluses and minuses though, not only does the magnets lock you into one headphone pad obviously, they also introduce airflow which has to be accounted for in tuning. Zach has definitely given the pads a LOT of thought over...- jinxy245

ZMF Atrium - new open-back co-flagship
There's honestly no right or wrong here IMO...listening is believing though, you never know until you hear it. The Atrium is amazing & isn't going anywhere (for now).- jinxy245

Review by 'jinxy245' on item 'ZMFheadphones Caldera'
I’ll start as I usually do with sincere thanks to ZMF for allowing this amazing headphone to go out on loan. They were generous enough to allow a considerable amount of time in order to put it through it’s paces and I sincerely enjoyed my time with them. There’s a lot of info already out there...- jinxy245

Caldera pads on the Atrium? Could be interesting. If Zach mentioned that, I'd definitely be curious what they sound like.- jinxy245

My only tube amp is the og Pendant which is not lower powered by any stretch, but that definitely is my preference overall. TBH my ifi is no slouch either.- jinxy245

@SlothRock beat me to it... Like most planars they seem to like a little bit of juice, but it doesn't take a ton of power to drive them. They definitely do seem to scale with better equipment IMO.- jinxy245

It's been a while since I've heard the VC personally, but I'm about 85-90% sure the Caldera mids are indeed more forward than the VC. Less than Atrium to my ears, but not a huge margin.- jinxy245

ZMF Caldera - New Planar Magnetic from ZMF!
I've listened to the Caldera Loaner I have on hand for only a couple of hours....this headphone is beguiling (in the best possible way). As been said before it marries so many qualities from other ZMFs and has it's own unique presentation....this is going to be a tougher than usual write up for...- jinxy245

+1 This is as close to my experience as I've read between these 2 headphones. Both are awesome IMO, close in technicalities, but enough difference to stand out from each other.- jinxy245

I was going to suggest hitting CanJam NYC since it's such a huge purchase and there's nothing like you're own two ears to tell you what you like, but it looks like you're in TX now! (Congrats on the move?) I'd suggest the CanJam in Dallas, but you're a good 4 hours away, and it's not for another...- jinxy245
