Here's a pic of the Antea KS on a 6.25" wrist. The white dial and tiny bezel makes the watch wear larger than its actual diameter, but as you can see, it still looks great! I'm not a fan of the lugs on the Antea, but this watch is up there when it comes to timeless beauty.

HOT SAUCES, A FAVORITE OR THE HOTTEST YOU'VE EVER HAD!

Generally I am not a fan of HOT hot sauces...I don't consider heat to be a flavour. I do love sriracha though, mainly because it is delicious (and with a small kick of heat at the end). Scrumptious on toast with cheese!

Took this shot ages ago but I didn't really pay attention to it...sometimes it helps taking a second look at old shots that might have gotten lost in the set!

Uncharted 2. What an amazing game. Polished to perfection, I'm trying to play it as slowly as possible, just to make sure I don't rush through such a rare gem.   Also 'playing' GT5, I've gotten to professional level but I now need to grind in order to get more money to continue, and sorry, I...

Tron Legacy 5/10   This is a movie that looks and sounds brilliant, but has nothing more than that! It's shocking how epic some of those scenes looked, so perfectly envisioned. All for a crap movie.

    Keyboard-Fi

Enermax Aurora in silver is what I use. A solid block of aluminium with plastic keys, the thing weighs a ton and the all-silver look matches my (old style) macbook pro very nicely :D I've had it for around 3 years now, the finish is just like it was when I bought it.   The key action is...

What book are you reading right now?

Quote: I've finished reading the first two books, currently on the third (System of the World). Quicksilver can be quite slow at times, in fact the whole series is a slog. The end part of the second book was really good, almost worth reading the preceding parts, but I would start the...

Black Swan 10/10   Natalie Portman was totally brilliant in this movie, particularly at those moments when the black swan is revealed (the finale was done very well!). The movie itself is a rather in-your-face look at the sacrifices artists make in the name of art, but I'm not really sure...

Reign of Assassins 10/10   Really good kung-fu movie, though a bit light on properly developed story the fighting is just brilliant! Michelle Yeoh was also awesome as a semi-retired assassin :D

Free 88/24 music download from Benchmark, makers of the DAC1!!

'In the Water' is just amazing! It sounds so...alive.   Here is where the recording really supports the style of music, it reminds me of Meaghan Smith's The Cricket's Quartet.

    Inception: Film of the Year?

When I first watched it, I was totally bowled over.  It made perfect sense and all the layer stuff was easy to understand, but the ending and how clearly it (for me anyway) indicated that Cobb had accepted his reality had quite an effect on me.  It took some time to decompress and not think...

    The Ultimate Sandwich Cheese

My favourite is Dubliner cheese. Made only in Ireland from a secret recipe owned by their dairy board. Its flavour is a bit sweet, a bit nutty, and a hint of parmesan, so it pretty much tastes great with anything.  Especially good on its own over hot pasta!

What book are you reading right now?

Currently reading The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets' Nest after blasting through the first 2 books!  I know, everyone and their mother is reading this same book, but it's just awesome.     The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo had me up til 5am when I had class starting at 9am!

Thirst by Chan-wook Park (director of Oldboy)     The first 15 minutes are very slow and a bit mundane really, you might wander where exactly this movie is going.  But from then on its a slow, slippery slide into some utterly crazy, darkly humourous, and truly memorable imagery.  This...

    A K702 impressions thread

Listening to my K702s right now, and it's just sonic bliss. Bands like Air, Zero 7, & Tosca are just mind blowing through these headphones. Such effortless, spacious sound, it suits down tempo music perfectly.    They are merciless with poorly recorded or encoded music however :D. No...

What book are you reading right now?

I'm reading The System of the World by Neal Stephenson: It's amazing how fast-paced this final part of the trilogy is compared to the first two. Quicksilver was glacially paced, the second half of the second book was acceptable, and in this one something happens on almost every page! I...

    F1 Australia - A sigh of relief

This Australian race was the most enjoyable race to watch since Hungary 2006, which Button also won . I'm worried about Schumacher, it seems that the Brawn GP design still hasn't matched the Red Bull's abilities, Button won a lot of points when BGP had the edge and managed to defend superbly...

Level of maths skill in the general public is depressing

I double majored in actuarial science and statistics for my bachelors degree. Lots of highly complex mathematics and statistics for 4 years. My parents and other people of their generation are much more agile when it comes to doing difficult mental arithmetic, and yeah, I'm dependent on my...
