MHDT Lab Pagoda: A review ...
I once had a Hifiman HM801 with K grade dual 1704. Voices were alive. One day, it stopped charging and Hifiman replaced it with a newer HM801 with no marking grade 1704 and the magic was gone. Not sure how the K grade differs technically but it sure did sonically.- Tympan

Chord Electronics ☆ Poly ☆ (wireless & microSD module for Mojo) ☆★►USEFUL INFO on 1st PAGE!!◄★☆
*** Very important question that hasn't been clearly answered by anyone yet *** It's great if Poly can provide mojo's sound quality I get when using a cable through Wireless connection in homes or around Wifi hot spots like at a coffee shop. But what about on the go, hiking in the forest...- Tympan

Has anyone tested the Beoplay h5
Could be the music file. Check if they are MP3 encoded at 128 or 192. Sensitive earphones will hiss unless Mp3 were encoded at 320 bit rate. (select file on computer, right click "info", it will show you the bit rate)- Tympan

BUMP Does anyone know if the mojo sound as good streaming files from an external hard drive (server, laptop, iphone/android storage...) as it would reading files straight from the poly's SD card? Hint: that's when the knowledgeable Chord team should jump in and educate/reassure...- Tympan

Earbuds Round-Up
Same, and it's been nice listening to music at safe volume ever since I got the Campfreds. Also, I rediscovered my ipod shuffle first generation thx to Campfreds, listening to electronic music on this combo is so enjoyable, funny how different pairing yield unexpected results sometimes!- Tympan

Earbuds Round-Up
My campfreds don't sound grainy at all but they did come across as a little dry at first (i was used to earphones that sound more fluid and have more echo going on). So I was not impressed at first and it took them a few days to seduce me. They are not dry either, they just sound more...- Tympan

Chord Electronics - CES Launch Extravaganza
Yes Mython, bluetooth allows wireless phone navigation through huge libraries, I get it What I'm proposing is the thought that the Poly would probably have been received much more positively had it been offered in 3 different modules (identical casing size with different internals) 1...- Tympan

Chord Electronics - CES Launch Extravaganza
Some people still find physical buttons important enough that leading manufacturers such as Sony, AK, Hifiman... (to name a few) still include them on all top of the line models. If the convenience of accessing these basic functions from a pocket (without having to get the player out, turn the...- Tympan
