Niimbus Ultimate Series US4/US4+/US5/US5 Pro Headphone Amps - by Lake People
Good decision. There are too many "connaiseurs" with their magic fuses who instead of managing the eletrical installation inside their house and the overall power management of their setup, think their magic fuse does all the wonder. And some of them do it even wrong and then claim warranty.- Fegefeuer

Violectric HPA V280 - balanced headphone amp - impressions and discussion thread
-14db is max when pushing -12 and -6, correct. Can't go lower than that. V550/590 can go down to -18db however- Fegefeuer

Niimbus Ultimate Series US4/US4+/US5/US5 Pro Headphone Amps - by Lake People
That's on your Morpheus though. One other guy found his US4+Susvara too bright with his chain, don't remember the DAC. I had no problems with: Sonic Frontiers P3 with Siemens Greyshields, Rockna Wavelight The whole setup is definitely not smooth but not borderline either, for me, but gear...- Fegefeuer

The estimate that counts is the one on the date of purchase. Anything less is welcome of course, but it shouldn't take longer than that.- Fegefeuer

Consider the Dekoni Elite Velour for the LCD2C if you experience: boxed in bass upper mids to be dipped too much uneven treble- Fegefeuer

Violectric HPA V550 - Blue's Brother and the successor to the V281
High damping factor, low impedance will "dry" the VC more up, shorten the decay etc, making them more technically impressive rather than maintaining their euphonic part. That's how I would describe it, having heard the Verite with the Niimbus, V590, HPA-1, Crimson. The Cavalli Liquid Crimson...- Fegefeuer

It's the FFF that makes your head spin. The Fang Force Field! Once you are in it, you are lost at first, wandering around not knowing what to say, what to make of of it, yet you are enarmoured by its magic, its naturalness, the flow, the liquidness. You are not quite there yet though as you...- Fegefeuer

Schiit Audio Bifrost 2
No idea about retail PSUs to be honest. There's too much weaselwording anyway in their marketing. Same with power cables. I find active parts more important in terms of power delivery than cables themselves or let's say secondary to them. Personally I use two Airlink Balanced Power Supplies...- Fegefeuer

Nice. A friend of mine built me a custom dual PSU for the PI2AES back then. I remember how good the upgrade was from the default Meanwell supply. I absolutely love it.- Fegefeuer

Hifiman HE6-SE
He made the cups ready for all the Audeze headbands. I had that headband already so simply screwed it on once the headphone came back. Other mods are Blu Tack, Sorbothane in the hollow parts of the cups, 2.5mm connectors instead of SMC (3.5 possible too).- Fegefeuer
