I know old but if you haven't done so already, update the firmware for the headset and the receiver. That will fix the chat 

Wondering if you have tried the ieb6 from First Harmonic, started by the President of Thinksound, Aaron. It's a 5.5mm driver and sound pretty darn good, though a bit bright for my ears
