Can someone please recommend me a decent DAP for these with Balanced output?

Well i have some shure 940 pads. Do you think they will sound ok with velour?

And i am I heard puting differnt pads on destroys the sound and i think they sound amazing already. I was just wondering what would be a better dac for it then the fiio q1 that i am using, unless it wont make any differnce

I just tried taking off the felt and i did not like the sound at all so i put them back on also i dont want any other pads i like the sound signature already and do not have a problem with the comfort

The cables only costed $190 total but i plan to use them with other headphones down the line. Does remove the felt ring have any negative effects? If not what is it there for?

Thank you for the info. I heard that a warm dac is very recommended for msr7.I am trying to figure out witch one will pair best. i dont care about any features,other then being able to hook it up to my phone. Do you know witch one of those would have a warm sound and that would pair best?

What is the best portable dac for msr7? My budget is $600. i dont care about value i just want to get the one that will sound the best.

I know but no matter what size i have it adusted to it still hurts. Thats why i am asking if some kind of cusion or something would help,like the hd600 pads,but i was wondering if anyone would know if something like that would help

Thank you, but yes I have seen the video and have tried this, it may have helped a little, but it still puts pressure on top of my head no matter how much i try to contour it to my head

I tried streching the headband but it still leaves a hotspot and leaves my head hurting bad. I was wondering if the hd600 replacment headband foam pads and some velcro tape help me or maybe pilot pad or something. What do you guys think?

Thank you for your advise however this doesnt really help me it still only rests on the top point of my head and causes a hot spot shortly after wearing

I was also thinking about maybe trying the HD 600 headband replacement pads, with doubled sided tape,but im not sure how they will work.

I just got the msr7's and i love them,but even after trying to stretch the headband it is still very uncomfortable, and they are really hurting the top of my head. I was wondering if the zmf pilot pad would make a difference, or if some kind of diy solution would help. I don't really want to...
