I'm using v200+lcd2f, and want to buy a hd800 or hd800s. I readed on the web, that hd800 works better in balanced mode than single end mode, so I'm looking for a headphone amp with balanced mode. Maybe I should buy the headphone and try it with v200 first.

Based on violectric's website, v281 is " 4 amplifiers for true balanced headphone output"  and v280 is "4 amplifiers with V200 technology".  Does it mean v280 isn't  true balanced?

Thanks ArthurPower! I will try jriver. My computer has coaxial output, but it doesn't 88.2 and 176.4MHZ, maybe I should looking for a cheap sound card with coaxial output that support this sample rate.

It seems that your network player already include dac, you can connect xlr output to amp, or connect a digital output such as coxal output to V850, using V850 as dac instead the build in dac.

I'm using windows 10 and using the vio asio driver. I reinstall the windows 10 system, the issue is stll there. It happened about ten days ago, at first, I think may be quickly switch song cause the problem, but yesterday, I turn on computer and linstened for about 10 minutes, it happened again.

Does the usb driver support wasapi in windwos?

Suffered a "Unrecoverable playback error: Timeout" error in foobar. Every time the error occured I have to unplug the usb cable, wait for a while and replug it again, Send a email to freid, but get no response. very annoying.

  I'm using the v800+v200+LCD2F combo, At the default setting, I found the sound is a bit loud, most time the volume is at 9-10 o'clock.

Installed ASIO component in foobar, and output device using the "ASIO: VIO USB 2.0 ASIO Driver", it worked very well. Thanks Arthur!
