Hi everyone! I'm looking to buy either a A900X or the new ATH-AG1 which is just an A700X with improved wing system and built in mic. Both cost $300   If I buy the A900X I will need to buy a standalone microphone, what would be a good one to get (don't factor the mic into the price)? I've heard...

  I did end up going with the Schiit stack, although I picked up these attenuators to give me a little more room on the volume pot with my 32ohm headphones.

If anyone could help it'd be appreciated, I need to know before making a purchase decision.

Since I will be using a Magni amp (and Modi DAC) with 32 Ohm headphones, would using 12dB attenuators like these make the volume pot more reasonable and remove the issue of channel imbalance as a result?     If so, how would they be connected? Sorry, I'm new at this stuff :)   Thanks!

So even with the Magni/modi having volume imbalance at lower levels as well as lack of  gain switch you would say to go for it for $65 less? Haha It's a tough decision for me, because I love the look of the magni/modi, but the O2/ODAC includes a gain switch which eliminates problems with lower...
