The main reason I wanted the Classics was due to the channel balancing, tuning and upgraded jack. Top this off with the ZMF Pads & Headband ... Zach has basically fixed everything wrong with the mk3 sets. I jumped on these because it accomplished most of those traits but with wooden cups...

It would decrease efficiency in theory, driver has to push more air around.

    Audio-GD NFB-11.32 & NFB-11 (2014) (Delivery & Impression Thread)!!!

All I know is that the noise floor is virtually inaudible and the DAC is the most neutral I've ever owned. After wasting countless money and time with Schiit Audio (They really need to remove the 'c' from their name) I finally jumped on the NFB11 and couldn't be happier.

Ah, I guess I was assuming everyone was buying theirs new ... I purchased mine earlier this year directly from Audio-GD. If you have an older version this would make sense I suppose. Edit: Just realized I posted the wrong driver link in my earlier post ... epic fail. Here is the correct one...

I can assure you none of this is necessary, use the right version of the USB drivers and it will work without a hiccup. The older USB module was designed around Vista I believe causing issues with later versions of Windows. I did the song and dance of all these guides posted online, was a...

You have to stretch them quite a bit before putting them on, it’s not just a problem with the fostex. I had a hell of a time with my beyers, but no problem after stretching my second pair thoroughly.

Headphones that can make you cry

Mine were modded as well, the pads resolved the issue of the poorly manufacturer stock ones that fail to create a seal resulting in the bass to roll off severely. Treble was always an issue no matter what was done.

Headphones that can make you cry

My old SHP9500's used to make me cry from the amount of sibilant treble they were jamming down my ear canals.

Pulled out some old favorites today to do some quick comparisons. One of these went back into their box very quickly ... the more expensive pair :) Edit: Forgot to mention this but the Senn's are quieter without touching the volume knob
