The New Enleum AMP-23R Amplifier (Successor to Bakoon AMP-13R) Thread
That may be hard but maybe my local dealer will have a new demo unit in the future. For now they have the older one (with different speaker caps and plastic remote) and it sounded like mine (but I haven't made direct comparison). Mine is 082. For now it's hard to tell, I have a hernia in my...- Zielarz

The New Enleum AMP-23R Amplifier (Successor to Bakoon AMP-13R) Thread
Yes, it's AXXX. As for the hardware issue I still doubt it (but who knows). GoldenSound send his measurements to Enleum and they seamed ok. As I wrote earlier my 23R was send back to Enelum in South Korea and they checked it. So it sounded as supposed to for them or they don't know what they are...- Zielarz

The New Enleum AMP-23R Amplifier (Successor to Bakoon AMP-13R) Thread
Funny thing, I hear the opposite :D. I have Holo Audio Bliss from Christmas. I didn't had much time for listening and comparison, also Bliss needs to burn in (just like the May it changes quite fast). For what I already heard - Bliss hits harder then 23R. I'm not sure yet if any of them has the...- Zielarz

The New Enleum AMP-23R Amplifier (Successor to Bakoon AMP-13R) Thread
Well I don't know what to say about that. For once I would never say that HA-300 or 23R sounds cheap with or without comparison. I don't remember ever reading this type of opinion about Cayin either but everyone has their own ears and experience. There is also a subject of tubes. I'm now...- Zielarz

The New Enleum AMP-23R Amplifier (Successor to Bakoon AMP-13R) Thread
Well it was also pointed out in Convince Me Audio and GoldenSound reviews - it's smoothen, instruments are lacking textures, it's a bit pushed to back. For me it's a bit dead here - like on other amps the same tracks make me tap my feet and enjoy the music more. The midrange is more lifelike. On...- Zielarz

The New Enleum AMP-23R Amplifier (Successor to Bakoon AMP-13R) Thread
Ok, my 23R has returned from service. I don't have much time now for proper testing, but I was curious about one thing. We had here a subject of some people (including me) having a problem with midrage of 23R. There where theories that it may be an issue with some units. As my unit had to be...- Zielarz

At back, right bottom corner after Enleum Amp-23R there’s No and then the number. It’ll be rather short like three digits.- Zielarz

The New Enleum AMP-23R Amplifier (Successor to Bakoon AMP-13R) Thread
It’s in repair at Enleum. It has an issue with volume blocking at about 12 o’clock - the gain control is rotating but the music is not getting quieter but it can go louder (but not in linear manner).- Zielarz

I can’t check it out now because my 23R is in service but if I recall right it was about 30W in idle and during load (headphones and speakers).- Zielarz

It's ok. If you have heavy to drive headphones or speakers it'll be quieter (or if you are listen to vinyls then the signal is lower). It works this way.- Zielarz

The New Enleum AMP-23R Amplifier (Successor to Bakoon AMP-13R) Thread
Yes, I agree that measurements can't give us 100% assurance that the amp is fine and doesn't have other problems. Yet if they are ok then there is a high probability that it is because usually if the amp has problems it can have other issues that will be 'visible'. So if the problem with Amp-23R...- Zielarz

The New Enleum AMP-23R Amplifier (Successor to Bakoon AMP-13R) Thread
Technically yes, but in the end still it would mean that there is a digital processing (or am I wrong?). Software is mostly for the pot operation (remote) I think. But the thing is, I think, that if it measures normally then it works fine. I think that there should be other problems besides...- Zielarz

The New Enleum AMP-23R Amplifier (Successor to Bakoon AMP-13R) Thread
A was referring to the ‘supposed problem’ not to the fact that they tested the same unit. Maybe I should be more precise with that. As I wrote, it was a theory that some users (I’m not sure but I think you were one of them) had after seeing the review. Because of that CMA and even GoldenSound...- Zielarz

The New Enleum AMP-23R Amplifier (Successor to Bakoon AMP-13R) Thread
I use it mostly with the headphones and this is where I have bigger experience. I have some speakers and 23R is my main amp for them, but I'm far on taking any assumptions based on that only. Check once again GoldenSound, he is another one. At least five people. Do the accurate number matters...- Zielarz
