Upgrading from CX300's
I had the S4's and they have some big time bass, but the highs can get harsh and the mids are lacking. I recently upgraded to the MTPG's and they sound much better. Based on that i would look into the regular Monster Turbines.- ZeusofBoost

About a $70 price limit, need to find the best IEM I can find
S4's have huge bass. Just as much as my Monster Turbine Pro Golds. Not as tight but the quantity is there. Also take a look at the regular Monster Turbines.- ZeusofBoost

OK I know what I want now in an IEM - suggestions please
Maybe look into the Monster Turbines. I have the Pro Golds but i hear the regular turbines are still very good. As far as your criteria goes i think they should give you: - Great isolation (At least the Pro's do) - Great Bass - Good detail and imaging - Under $100 - Un-amped...- ZeusofBoost

In-ear phones recommendations? Willing to spend up to £30
The $30 sony's(not sure of the model) have good bass, but are pretty cheaply made. Try to convince her to step up to to the S4's (Very comfortable and tons of bass after they break in) or the RE0 or the Monster Turbines. All should give her the bass she wants- ZeusofBoost

I just got the Monster Turbine Pro Golds and i think they would be perfect for you. Great deep bass, but doesnt overpower the music. Highs are slightly recessed, but for a headphone i think thats a positive. Should tone down the "intensity" you had with your previous IEM's. They have a great...- ZeusofBoost

None of my friends care much about headphones. That and they cant afford nice gear. Im probably gonna give my S4's to my little brother when i get my Turbine Pro Golds. Maybe he'll get hooked and start buying nicer headphones.- ZeusofBoost

looking for some audiophile adivice
I demoed my brothers skullcandys and they were really bad. Way to much emphasis on the bottom end. They didnt even play the highs either. I would go for the Turbines or S4's for bass. I had the S4's and they had tons of bass. I just ordered the Monster Turbine Pro Golds which should be...- ZeusofBoost

Help choosing new Earbuds ~$300
Just decided to order a pair of Monster Turbine Gold's. Felt like i valued the greater bass over the accuracy of the headphone. MD was a little bit of a reach as the lowest i could find them was around $400. I got the Gold's for $230 Open Box, but from B&H with a full manufacturer warranty. ...- ZeusofBoost

Help choosing new Earbuds ~$300
I will either go with the IE8's or the Monster turbine Pro Copper/Gold/MD. I think i might buy the IE8's at the apple store and give them a little test run. If i like them then i will get a pair on the internet. If not, I will get a pair of Turbine Pro's and see if they're any better. ...- ZeusofBoost
