Yep, I also bended the headband until they were comfortable, now they're very comfortable to me. Still, the surface area of the headband that actually makes contact with my head isn't a lot, so after a few hours, like 3-4, there will be discomfort, so that's still a thing. Maybe that's just me...

Review by 'Zero Decibels' on item 'Aedle VK-1 Valkyrie'

Copy-pasted from my post: http://www.head-fi.org/t/761809/aedle-vk-1-review   Hey eveyone! Zero Decibels here for a review of the Aedle VK-1, a headphone that, in my opinion, is one of the best premium portable headphone out there, and THE BEST sounding on-ear headphone out there. I got mine...

    Aedle VK-1 Review

The more I listen to these, the more I'm loving the sound. Still thinking that it's not worth full price, but still beats my current headphones. These definitely beat most mid-fi headphones like the Sony MDR-1A (still my favorite though), the Momentums, and the V-moda M100 in terms of sound. I'd...

    Aedle VK-1 Review

Hey eveyone! Zero Decibels here for a review of the Aedle VK-1, a headphone that, in my opinion, is one of the best premium portable headphone out there. I got mine from my local headphone store, but because they ran of these headphones, I got the ex-demo version, for half the price. Don't...

    Sony MDR-1A - Sony's latest update on the 1R

Just pulled the trigger on these, and I'm quite happy and at the same time, disapointed about these headphones. I'm happy bout buying these cuz these have a very fun sound with great vocals and a wide soundstage. The instruments sound very life-like and the vocals sound amazing. The disapointed...

Review by 'Zero Decibels' on item 'Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro'

TL;DR: Don't be lazy and read it all   Hey guys, Zero Decibels here with a review of the Beyer COPs, I got these for about 158$ from a local store. As usual, I'll be judging these from 4 aspects; Design, Build Quality, Comfort, Sound Quality   Design (4/5) Nice design, especially with all...

Recommendations for portable headphones about 200$?

Hello everyone! Zero Decibels here, and I'm looking to find a good closed portable headphone for under 200$. I listen to mostly EDM and mainstream music. I'll be using these with my Sony Xperia Z3, without an amp (could buy one later though), running mp3 files. My priorities for headphones are...

TL;DR : Don't be lazy, I already made the review super short   Let's just keep this short, I got the MMX102IE (same version just with a mic and 1 button remote) for about 40$ cuz of a discount (You could still get it at about 70$ in my country) I will be judging from 4 aspects : Design, Build...

    New Member Introductions thread

Hey everyone!   My name is Darren, but call me Decibels. I am a 13 year old kid (yeah, you read that right, there's a child headphone enthusiast here) from Indonesia. At the moment I only own 4 headphones, which are 2 IEMs (Beyerdynamic MMX 102 IE, and the Sonicgear Earpumps), an on-ear...

My review of the Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro (in white)

Actually, there IS an allen key. I got one myself. Great review BTW!

    Beyerdynamic Custom One Pros......already broken.

I do agree that the COPs are kind of easily broken from the joints, although they're very tough and can take a beating. My COP's metal forks got loose after a month of use as well. In your case though, you should ask for a refund or try to fix it in a way.

    What are your secret headphones?

Wow... You must have suffered a lot to get electrified not once, not twice, but 3 times... How did it feel?

    What are your secret headphones?

My first headphones are the Sonic Gear Airphone V. What, never heard of them? Of course, since I don't think they're sold in the US. My mom got me these for my birthday once, after my samsung earphones (the ones that comes with your galaxy smartphone) broke before 24 hours of use. I still keep...
