Focal Utopia General Discussion
I have and love the OG Utopia and can confirm, Raven is the closest IEM I have heard to getting the same enjoyment. I have them in now in fact .- zephyrstar

I don't find it to be bright, for me it is about as perfect as an IEM I have heard. I am 51 though so your mileage may vary of course :)- zephyrstar

Focal Utopia General Discussion
I had one. It sounded ok but for me the ergos were awful. The Utopia is a svelte lightweight headphone and the Lazuil made it feel like I attached two cheap air compressor hoses to it. It is just two thick and unwieldy for me. Others may not have a problem with it.- zephyrstar

Agree 100% Raven is very tip dependent. With the right tip with the right seal it is magic! Without the right seal, all the magic leaks out. I went through a bunch of tips and found the Spinfit W1 works best for me. Even then I had to try multiple sizes to find the best combination of seal...- zephyrstar

Empire Ears - Discussion & Impressions (Formerly EarWerkz)
I agree with many of your points: I also think the cable slidy is useless, not enough tension. I can get mine into a CA double mesh bagwith some careful futzing but it's not ideal. I am going to check out your case recommendations. Most annoying thing for me is the driver flex. It's not bad...- zephyrstar
