The Monoprice THX stuff is very intriguing to me that is for sure.

I have seen this chart, and yes the specs are very similar. with just a few minor differences. I must be picking this up to from what I described was a very slight noise level drop and tad better dynamic range.

I think a lot has to do with the whole THX-AAA hype. not that I have any other THX-AAA amp to compare, but there is a lot of hype regardless. I do enjoy what the AM3D brings and is an improvement IMO.
