Audio-Related Tweaks
4/16/2012: Was using Windows Media Player, with audio card settings at 65% crystalizer and bass EQ boosted below 125hz. I had headphones directly plugged into Line-Out. After I plugged in the Schiit Asgard, I took off the bass boost EQ entirely, and turned down the crystalizer to 10%.
4/17/2012 12:31pm: I will install Foobar2000 with the Wasapi plug-in when I get home from work in order to try to maximize audio output. (removed Foobar and Wasapi due to system incompatibility issues).
4/15/2013: Schiit Bifrost arrived. Switching from line-out to optical cable. EQ up the sub bass, down the 8Khz for Grados
9/??2014: received Sennheiser HD-600, removed all EQ tweaks since the HD-600s are fairly flat.
Music Preferences
Metal (death metal, hardcore punk, groove metal, some grind, some industrial. No gothic stuff due to keyboards and lameness); modern hard rock; 70s classic rock; 80s hair/glam metal; electronic (still searching for my sound, but I like Aphex Twin, Daft Punk, Justice, Breakbot, Oval, 5/5/2000, random stuff off www.di.fm, chiptunes, dark ambient noisey stuff) and some orchestra/symphony/chamber stuff.
